Economic Mission to Brazil

 

Healthcare Belgium joined the economic mission to Brazil (Sao Paolo), presided over by HRH Prince Philippe which took place from the 15th to 22nd May 2010.

We were very happy to welcome HRH Princess Mathilde during the opening of the first Healthcare Belgium seminar on May 18th in Sao Paolo.

The seminar on 'Medical Imaging and Treatment of Cancer: Belgian leading-edge technologies to save lives" was organized by Healthcare Belgium in close cooperation with Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) and with the institutional support of Abimed (Brazilian Federation of Importer of Medical Equipment and Devices) and the Ministery of Health of Sao Paolo.  

The speakers from Agfa Healthcare, Ion Beam Applications (IBA) and Orfit Industries presented concrete business cases and shared experiences encouraging companies to do business together by joining forces in this very important battle against cancer.
