1-3 December 2012 – Libyan Healthcare Mission
A delegation of 10 leading Belgian experts in healthcare will visit Libya from 1 to 3 December to explore further avenues of collaboration with the Libyan authorities. Libyan freedom fighters are currently being treated in Belgian hospitals to the fullest satisfaction of both patients and authorities. Taking into account that Belgium - according to the World Economic Forum – has developed one of the world’s best health care systems and taking the Libyan needs in this field into account the idea behind this mission is to take the current co-operation one step further. In practice this entails that the “Healthcare Belgium” delegation will put forward a series of proposals to address both the short and mid-term needs of the Libyan population.
