Welcome

With more than 600 beds, ZNA Middelheim is the largest hospital of the Antwerp Hospital Network ZNA and of the city of Antwerp. ZNA Middelheim has an excellent reputation in cancer care and has received prestigious international recognition for the integration of oncology and palliative care. ZNA Middelheim offers all surgery disciplines and is especially well known for eye, heart, orthopaedic, spine and neurosurgery.

Another activity to be mentioned is urology (prostate cancer), using the most advanced techniques. ZNA Middelheim also comprises an excellent centre for fertility care.

Access

By plane:

Fly into Brussels Airport. To reach Antwerp, you can take the train to Antwerpen-Berchem (railway station in the airport). Take a taxi to ZNA Middelheim. It is only a 5 minute ride that will cost about 8 euro. Taking a taxi from Brussels airport straight to ZNA Middelheim will cost you approximately 63 euro.

By train:

Whether you come by Eurostar or by any other train arriving at Brussels South, take the train to Antwerpen-Berchem. Upon arrival in Antwerp take a taxi to  ZNA Middelheim; that will cost you about 8 euro.

By car:

• Coming from Brussels via the E19 motorway, take exit 6 (Mortsel-Hoboken) and proceed in the direction of Mortsel and turn left at the second traffic light. You will find ZNA Middelheim 500 meters along at your left hand side. A parking lot is accessible next to the main entrance of the hospital.
• Coming from the Netherlands: take exit 4 (Berchem-Mortsel) on the Antwerp Ring Way and turn left; at the traffic light turn right and again right at the next traffic light. You will find ZNA Middelheim 300 meters along at your left hand side.
