Our Rooms

In consultation with your doctor, a date for your admission will be arranged. When you are admitted, you may choose from the following types of room:

  • a communal room
  • a twin room
  • a single room
  • a single room for rooming-in, after consent of the doctor
  • a communal room for rooming-in with children
  • a twin room for rooming-in with children
  • a single room for rooming-in with children

Our Services

Restaurant
The opening hours of the restaurant on the fourth floor are:
on weekdays from 7.30 - 9.30, 11.45 - 14.15 and from 16.30 - 19.30
on weekends and on public holidays from 7.30 -14.15 and from 16.30 -19.30

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is situated on the ground floor. The opening hours are:
on weekdays from 9.30 - 20.00
on weekends and on public holidays from 14.00 - 20.00

Hospital meals
If you have special requests regarding your meals, please contact the head nurse. He or she will pass your requests to the restaurant chef.

Hairdresser and pedicure service
There is a hairdresser and pedicure service for all patients. You can book these services via the head nurse. The service provider should be payed directly (euros).

Hospital library
The hospital library has a limited selection of books in other languages at your disposal (mainly English, French and German). The librarian can bring the books to your room, or you can visit the hospital library on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 11.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 15.00.

Correspondence, newspapers and magazines
If you let us know a week before the admission date which newspaper or magazine you would like to receive during hospitalisation, we can make sure that it will be reserved for you every morning.
Correspondence can be sent to your attention at the general hospital address. Incoming mail for patients is brought round every day. Any letters you wish to send should be handed to the nurse or reception.

Telephone
All patients have access to a telephone. When you register at the Admission-Registration department you will receive a form with information on your personal telephone code and how to use it and on the direct phone number on which you can be contacted.

Television and radio
There is a television in every room for patients to watch free of charge. All rooms also have a radio with preselected stations.

Religious, ethical or philosophical support
All religious and philosophical persuasions of patients are respected. If you would like to meet a religious representative, you can contact our Pastoral service for assistance.
